We are a small business and do everything we can to share our travels, experiences and collection with you. We also do everything we can to earn your trust and make sure you are 100% satisfied. We understand that shopping online for fine art, jewelry, clothing, scarves and other items can be challenging. Therefore, we try to make the process as easy and worry-free as possible. Returns
You are welcome to return any item within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. If there is a product defect or we sent you the wrong product, we will pay the return shipping costs (per our instruction). Much of our collection are antique items and, therefore, are worn with age. This wear is what makes the items unique, beautiful and valuable, so these items are not considered defective. The same is true with our clothing which is printed by hand and therefore may not be 'perfect.' These imperfections are celebrated.
All returns are at the discretion of Mahakala Fine Arts.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, etc.). If the original payment method is unavailable or cancelled, the return balance will be issued as a store credit. Refunds will be issued after we receive the returned item.
We're sorry, but the original shipment fees are non-refundable. Additionally, we can not pay customs duty in order to receive returned items.
Repairs and Defective Items
We assess repairs and defective item claims on a case by case basis. Please email us at Mahakala@MahakalaFineArts.com with the following information; 1) your order number, 2) the email address used to place the order, 3) name of the item, and 4) a photo of the damage. Please note we are not able to repair or replace defective item claims after 7 days from the date of purchase.
Cancellations
If you change your mind after ordering an item, please email us immediately via email at Mahakala@MahakalaFineArts.com and we will do everything possible to stop the order. Our team is very fast in sending out orders so, unfortunately, it is not always possible to catch packages before they are out the door.
Lost or Stolen Packages
Please ship your package to a secure location or post box to ensure it is delivered without risk of theft. Once a package has been scanned as delivered we are unable to pursue a claim on your behalf and cannot recoup the value of the package. If the package has been lost in transit and has not been scanned as delivered, we are happy to place a claim on your behalf with the courier. A replacement or refund will be issued once the courier has finished the claim investigation process.
Return Condition
All items must be unworn or unused and in their original condition when shipped. Please note that many of our products are antique and / or handmade, therefore, are worn and distinctive. This is part of the beauty of these products.
