Antique Tibetan Silver Pendant

We found this wonderful antique Tibetan sterling silver and turquoise pendant deep in the Himalaya in Ladakh, India. It is handmade and the design is the lucky Tibetan 'double fish' symbol. It was not originally made as a pendant, but rather as a decoration that women used to hang from their ceremonial hats, called perak. We bought this from an old man who must have been nearly as old as the jewelry, and have refashioned it as a pendant.

Wear this fabulous antique and share its story with all your friends!
