This stylish top is so soft and comfy that you'll make up occasions to put it on. Handmade by artisans at our studio in Rajasthan with 100% organic cotton and natural indigo dye, the beauty of this shirt lies in the hand-crafted details. The natural fabric breathes, making it ideal for warm weather and relaxed days. Pair with our white, natural or black palazzo pants and you have an outfit for a day to make memories.
The magic of this top lies in the handmade dabu printing. Dabu is an age-old process that has been perfected over generations in India. A local earthen mixture is hand printed on natural cotton cloth using hand-cut wood block prints and left to dry. The cloth is then dipped into the natural indigo vat, where the area with the mud resists the dye, and the rest is colored a beautiful blue. After washing, the secret is revealed. Part of the beauty of dabu fabric lies in fact that each block is placed by the artisan’s hand - what is left behind is an imprint of the personality and character of the blockprinter. Slight variations are to be celebrated.

The elegant colors and exuberant patterns of our Kantha Jacket will bring a smile to your face. Each piece is unique and crafted by hand from recycled sari fabric. Stitched together, the fabric is quilted for a relaxed fit and feel.
The jacket is made by hand using a technique called 'kantha.' Kantha takes recycled saris, still worn by the majority of ladies in India, and cuts the fabric into small pieces. These pieces are then sewn together at the edges and joined using a running stitch. Kantha is four layers thick, and this whole process creates a soft quilted fabric. The jacket comes together at our studio in Rajasthan.
